How it works

Ten minutes from sign-up to a student doing your homework

1

Link your students

Share one permanent join code, or send an email invite. Students, or their parents, see exactly what you can and can't access before they accept. A student can have more than one instructor.

2

Assign what they need

Any School Math topic with a question count, or one of your own question banks. Several students at once, with a due date and a note. Progress carries across sittings.

3

See what to teach next

Mastery by topic, the topics each student is struggling with, full practice-test results, and every assignment question by question, misses first. Keep private notes per student.

Your material, your way

Question banks you build once and reuse all year

Four ways to fill a bank, then assign it timed or untimed, shuffled or not, with or without answers shown afterwards.

  • Pick from School Math. Choose a course and topic, see each question with its difficulty and how often students get it right, tick the ones you want.
  • Or let it draw for you. "Ten from Evaluating expressions, medium difficulty" and it is done. The set stays fixed, so the bank is the same for every student.
  • Upload a spreadsheet. One question per row, preview before saving. LaTeX renders for students.
  • Write your own. Multiple choice with an explanation and an optional image.

What you see about each student

  • School Math mastery by course and topic, and the topics they are struggling with, weakest first.
  • Every completed practice test with the full result and Test Review.
  • Every assignment question by question: what was asked, what they picked, how long it took.
  • Your own private notes and session log per student.

What you never see

  • Their billing, password, or account settings.
  • Anything after they leave. Students and parents can end the link at any time.

Students accept a consent screen that lists all of this before anything is shared. Parents can accept for younger students.

Common questions

Full instructor FAQ →

Does it cost me anything?

No. Instructor accounts are free, forever, with no card on file. Your students subscribe to a Plus or Pro plan, the same plans any family buys.

How do younger students join?

Send the invite to the parent's email. They accept on the child's behalf and can leave at any time from Settings.

Can I see everything a student does?

You see test results, School Math mastery, and your assignments in detail, question by question. You do not see their billing or account settings.

Can a student have more than one instructor?

Yes. A math tutor and an SHSAT tutor can both link to the same student, and each sees the same progress.

Can I use my own questions?

Yes. Build question banks by picking from School Math, letting it draw a set automatically, uploading a spreadsheet, or writing your own.

I already have a student account. Can I switch it?

Yes. Open Settings and use "Are you a tutor or teacher?". Your history is kept.
