About UnofficialPrep
Practice tests that show students in grades 4–12 exactly what to work on next, and an AI Tutor that teaches it.
Why we built this
UnofficialPrep started with a simple observation: most test prep tools either throw random questions at students or bury families in confusing dashboards. We wanted something calmer, clearer, and actually helpful.
Instead of copying official exams, we focus on high‑quality original questions, adaptive practice, and clear insights that tell you exactly what to work on next.
What makes UnofficialPrep different
- Adaptive, not random. Each new test selects questions based on your skill level, which updates after each test based on your performance.
- Deep insights, not walls of numbers. We summarize strengths, gaps, and next steps in plain language.
- Simple pricing. Monthly plans starting at $10/month. Cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your paid period. No surprise fees.
How UnofficialPrep works
Step 1
Diagnostic
Start with a short diagnostic to get a baseline for each exam and section, so practice begins where you actually are.
Step 2
Adaptive practice
Questions are chosen to match your current level. After each test your profile updates, so the next one keeps pace with you.
Step 3
Reviews that name the concept
Each test review goes past the score to the specific concept behind every miss, and rolls up into a Readiness Report.
Step 4
Learn it with the AI Tutor
Pick a concept you missed and get a short lesson plus fresh practice questions on exactly that idea — as many rounds as it takes.
What we care about
Clarity over hype
We avoid noisy dashboards and confusing metrics. Everything is designed so that parents and students can quickly see where they stand.
Student wellbeing
Exams are stressful enough. Our goal is to make practice feel structured and encouraging, not overwhelming.
Respect for exams
We are not affiliated with any testing organization and we don’t reuse official questions. Everything here is original preparation content.
